Pakistan State use Tragic Mastung Terror Attack to Justify Baloch Genocide

Baloch Youth Wing - Pakistan Army is Bombing and Killing Innocent People

Earlier this month, State Sponsored Terrorist Gang Lashkar-e-Jhangvi used a human bomb to commit mass murder of Shi Pilgrims in Mastung.  The Pakistani State used this tragic terrorist attack to justify a drastic escalation of military force in Balochistan.  Soon after PM Nawaz Sharif issued a public edict ordering “surgical strikes” against the terrorists responsible for the #MastungBlast , Pakistani Armed Forces launched a full scale military offensive against civilian Baloch targets.  Conducting attacks against moderate secular Baloch citizens implies the Mastung Terror attack was facilitated by a desperate state seeking justification for their ongoing genocide in Balochistan.

On January 23rd 2014 Pakistani forces intensified operations in Panjgur, Mashkey and Kalat.  Full Scale Invasions were conducted against civilian targets, with Armored Vehicles and Gunship Helicopters.  At least 135 residents have been abducted, 6 killed, and countless wounded by State Forces.  Two women from Kalat were amongst the casualties.  Since the Siege began on Thursday, the entire region has been under a complete black out.  Prior to invasion, Pakistani Forces cut all power and communication to and from the Panjgur region.  Leaked reports of State Forces deploying Chemical Weapons against the panjgur residents on Friday have surfaced on social media.  According to reports a high number of fatalities are being concealed by Pakistani Forces.

As Pakistani Forces continue their siege of Panjgur, Security Forces conducted a series of home invasions in Quetta on Saturday.  Several Residents were abducted during the raids.  By Sunday, several more casualties of Pakistan’s ongoing military offensive were discovered.  Two bullet riddled bodies were found in the Washok area of Besima, Panjgur, and another bullet-riddled body was recovered in Mastung on January 25th.
Last night, Pakistani forces attacked Zafar Colony, Sui, Dera Bugti.  During the assault, Farooq Mondarani Bugti was abducted.  In Awaran Market, local bus driver Muneer was also abducted by State Agents on Monday.  In Chatar Naseerabad, Dur Mohmmad was abducted by unidentified gunmen.

As the State Army intensifies the Genocide in Balochistan, the victims of the #MastungBlast are deprived justice.  The Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorist thugs responsible for the attacks remain unpunished.  As a result Pakistani Terrorist Gangs are emboldened by State facilitated impunity.  Without fear of reprisal, radical extremists can continue to commit acts of terrorism upon innocent civilians.

BNCHR - Three mass graves discoverd in Tootak, 92 bodies recovered so far.

Futher evidence of State Sponsored Genocide in Balochistan was revealed on January 25th as local residents of Totak, Khuzdar discovered a mass grave containing 17 dead bodies near a known operating base of State Sponsored Death Squad Shafiq Mengal.  Since the initial discovery on Saturday, several other mass graves have been found in the region.  The second contained 8 more bodies and another 78 corpses were found in the 3rd grave.  Reports from the region indicate the remains of at least 100 victims have now been recovered from the #KhuzdarMassGraves .   Since the discovery of the mass graves, Pakistan’s armed forces have occupied and cordoned off the area.  An anonymous source has reported that at least 50 additional Mass Graves have been found since the area was locked down by Security Forces.

Radical Terror Groups Mass Murder Shia Hazara Pilgrims in Balochistan

January 14th 2013, Shiite Pilgrims were attacked a second time this year while returning from Iran.  Pakistani Terrorist group Lashkar-e-Jhangvi detonated a human bomb, destroying the Pilgrim’s bus killing 29 people and injuring nearly 40 others.  The bomb blast was followed by a hail of terrorist gunfire.  Lashkar-e-Jhangvi also claimed responsibility for the January 1st attack on Shiite Pilgrims when a car bomb was driven into their bus killing three.  Following the #MastungBlast attack, mass protests broke out in Quetta.  Public Protests led by the Brave Families of the deceased and the local Shia Hazara community brought Quetta traffic to a standstill.  The Quetta protests quickly sparked demonstrations in several other cities throughout Pakistan including Karachi, Hyderabad and Islamabad.

Shiite Families Mourn the Unburied Bodies of the Martyred Pilgrims.
The Shia Hazara Community refused to bury the bodies until Senior Government Officials
agreed to take Serious Action against the Terrorists Responsible for the Attack

Earlier today, Pakistani Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar addressed the demonstrators in Quetta after meeting with representatives of the local Hazara community.  Minister Nisar assured the protestors that “We will not allow the situation to go on like this”.  Although Minister Nisar has made promises of action.  Rather than investigate the bus attack and arrest the criminals responsible, the Pakistani Security Forces fired tear gas into the crowds of Shia protestors and arrested at least 8 demonstrators.  Leaders of the Shia community have condemned the incident at Tower terming it “a cruel act by the police”.
Considering the capacity of local Security Forces such as the FC & BC as well as agencies such as the ISI’s intricate intelligence network and a military force who claims to rival the Indian Army, a Gang of Terrorist thugs like Lashkar-e-Jhangvi ought to be short order.

UPDATE - while editing this post, Dawn.com released the following article...
It has yet to be confirmed that the apprehended suspects are linked to the recent terrorist attacks.

Earlier this month, on Thursday January 9th, Pakistani FC soldiers invaded a Turbat college dorm.  A professor and several students were tortured and one student abducted.  During the raid, FC soldiers looted the dorm of valuables and learning materials.  Several days later, the FC held a press conference to boast about the plunder of what they termed “anti-Pakistani” literature.  The confiscated books included works by Bertrand Russell, and Meer Gul Khan Naseer or about historical figures such as Jawaharlal Nehru, Nelson Mandela, Che Guevera and Ghandi.  Even Poetry books by Ata Shad, Gholam Hossian Shohaz, and Kareem Dashti were taken.  Not only does this raid confirm Pakistan’s agenda of oppression through learning deprivation, but also establishes their own fear of modern and moderate ideologies.  This attack and confiscation of such material only proves that Pakistans radical policies are too feeble to endure.  Pakistan’s inability to combat the ideas and concepts put forth in books with their own ideology is only substantiated by their censorship of any information they are unable to intelligently dispute.

Although Extremist groups such as JUI & LEJ have publicly claimed responsibility for many of the Attacks on Shia minorities, nobody has been arrested, charged, or prosecuted for Terrorist Attacks on minorities.  Meanwhile thousands of Secular Baloch Activists have been extra-judicially Abducted and Persecuted by Pakistani Security Forces.  Pakistan demonstrates complete inaction towards Religious Extremists while taking drastic measures to Victimize secular activists.  Pakistan’s policy of Intolerance and Bigotry blatantly endorses Religious Extremism and encourages Terrorism.

Mr. Qadeer has and always will have a type of security that nobody can take away and that is the security of global awareness.  Through our eyes and words the entire world is watching.  Thanks to the tireless efforts of social media activists, journalists, and international activists, the #VBMPLongMarch is protected by the very light they shine upon the darkest corner of the world.
